Museful
Museful is a single player musical adventure being developed for PC, where you colour in the world environment through the power of music. Play as the Conductor, explore stunning hand drawn 2D locales and meet compelling characters as you journey through the colour shifting, Metroidvania inspired world of Chromesthesia. Learn musical abilities with companions to restore colour, music, and life to the world. By mastering a combination of these abilities, you can progress through Museful in your own way. Enjoy tight platforming and controls with the many challenges that will put your skills to the test, and join us in celebrating your own creativity. Your adventure will dive deep into five unique regions, each with their own inspirations, friends, foes, bosses, puzzles, original interactive soundtracks, and mysteries to unravel. Experience a branching narrative, with your choices ultimately leading to the world being restored to true colour, or fading completely to grey. |
Team Bio
Alec Minter is the Creative Director for Museful. He’s been playing games and vibing with his favourite soundtracks since he first picked up Pokémon Blue on Gameboy. Alec now spends his free time writing code and stories, forever inspired by his team and all the games he’s enjoyed. Tony Hsu is Museful’s Game Designer and Technical Artist. He trained as an architect in Taiwan before making the jump to study games art in the UK, seeking to collaborate and create experiences that can be enjoyed together – like when he’d compete (in a friendly way) against his Dad on FIFA. Roy Chen is Museful’s talented 2D Artist, she loves to draw… a lot. For her, creating art is just like a diary entry, each piece full of memories and feelings that tell her story. She travelled to the UK with Tony to become a children’s book illustrator, and it was an unexpected but beautiful surprise that she joined Nostalgicat. Tom Fyfe has spent a long time in academia – specialising in project management, design thinking, problem solving, communication, programming – if you name it, he’s (probably) made a decent run at it. He’s the Audio Designer and Producer for Museful. |
